Lake Norman Chamber Foundation

The Lake Norman Chamber Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and the philanthropic arm of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. Dedicated to supporting the Lake Norman community, the Foundation engages in activities and partnerships that benefit those who live and work in the region. Donations to the Foundation are always welcomed and these donations are what helps to advance the organization’s mission. For more information, call 704.892.1922.

Established in 2008, the Foundation played an active role in the community by providing local scholarships, collaborating with educational initiatives like the North Mecklenburg High School Automotive program, and recognizing outstanding educators through the Lake Norman Chamber Education Collaborative. The Foundation also hosts events such as the "Thanksgiving Breakfast," raising funds to support local charities and programs that enrich the lives of Lake Norman residents.

Governed by dedicated business and community leaders, the Foundation is committed to fostering a stronger, more vibrant Lake Norman community for generations to come.

Each year, the Chamber selects an Outstanding Educator of the Year for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (Public), Charter, and Private School as well as an area industry or business who has demonstrated a passion for vocational excellence in our area high schools.
